Terms of Service

Effective July 8, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Fetchr app. By creating an account you agree to them and to the house rules shown in the app.

Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old to use Fetchr.

Your content

You own the photos you submit. By submitting them you give Fetchr a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and reproduce them inside the app and in the share cards the app generates for you. Delete your account and that license ends with it, except for dogs other players have also photographed (their catches remain).

House rules

• Photograph dogs, not people. Photos where a person is the subject are removed.
• Be respectful of dogs, their owners, and public/private property. Follow leash laws and local rules.
• No harassment, hate, spam, or attempts to identify where a specific dog or person lives.
• Don't misuse claiming — only claim a dog that is genuinely yours.
• Reported content may be hidden automatically and reviewed. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Dogs and their owners

Dogs photographed in public may appear on Fetchr with an AI-suggested breed and playful placeholder name. If a dog is yours, you can claim its profile to rename and manage it. If you'd like a dog removed instead, contact us and we'll take care of it.

The game

Points, rarities, crowns, and leaderboards are for fun. Breed identification is AI-generated and can be wrong. Scores and cards have no monetary value.

Disclaimers

Fetchr is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Use common sense and stay safe when photographing dogs.

Termination

You can stop using Fetchr or delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be flagged in the app with a new effective date here.
